If your Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) unit only blows hot air from the defrost, or you get clicking from behind the dash, you may have a broken Blend Door Actuator. This is the Ford module that controls the temperature of the air coming from your heat and A/C. Since this is a wear part, you may also think about replacing it when you have the dash removed while installing a heater core.
Unfortunately, these parts are now obsolete and hard to find. Fortunately for you, SHO Source has a limited quantity available to keep your SHO on the road.
These are brand new units, but they are not in an original Ford package. They are however original Ford parts (not an aftermarket replacement).
Installation of a Blend Door Actuator requires removal of the dashboard and has a difficulty of 7 out of 10.
Tech Notes
We currently have limited quntities of all years for the BDa's. 89, 90-91, and 92-95.

NOTE to 1992 Car Owners: 1992 was a transition year. We usually see the 90-92 blend door used on 1992 cars, but we have also seen 1992 cars use the 1993-1995 blend door actuator. Please check your car prior to purchasing so you get the correct part.
Applications
1993-1995 Taurus with EATC (SHO and LX). Some late 1992 cars also use this blend door actuator.
