SHO Source has a limited number of excellent condition used Powertrain Control Modules (PCM). The PCM is the main computer for your car and controls practically everything in the car. This ad is for the EFL2 for the 1996-1999 third generation SHO.
You are looking for a different PCM for one of three reasons.
1) The X2J computer used in 92-95 MTX cars is an excellent upgrade for 89-91 MTX cars due to improvements in the computer and programming. If you have a 90 and wish to use an LPM you will need an X2J PCM as the 90 PCM will not work.
2) The D4U1 computer used in 94-95 ATX cars is an excellent upgrade for 93 ATX cars to get firmer shifting.
3) Your computer died and you need a replacement. If you need a replacement computer, you can also follow the options above, or if you are a purist and want the exact same PCM model, contact us directly and we will find you a replacement.
These PCMs are tested good, but since they are an electronic part that can be damaged if improperly installed, there is no warranty (but you really won't need a warranty).
Installation of a PCM has a difficulty of 2 out of 10.
If you need a computer other than an X2J or D4U1, select the other older computer and specify what computer you wish to order in the comments at checkout.
Always disconnect the battery before changing a PCM to minimize the chance of damaging the electronics.
Below you can see the chart for the computers typically found in the SHO. The door jamb will also tell you as well. Please check this or the CPU before ordering.
